Offering up a very rare sterling silver NIU Northern Illinois University Class Ring when the University was known as Illinois State University. In July of 1957 this schools name was changed to Northern Illinois University or NIU. The rare find is all sterling silver currently a size 3 ¾ ring finger and may be resized up if desired. Circa 1930s-40s the top open lace diamond shape measures slightly less than 1 inch long by 3/8 wide; weighing 2.1 grams. The center is repousse reading Northern Illinois State Normal with a shield in the center and Eagle. It is hallmarked with what looks like a Bell Shape with stick figure and sterling. Very nice and unusual!! Display box not included.
