This Charm by Maisel Trading Post is a wonderful depicting of the Southwestern Hopi Native American Indian Traditional Corn Dancer complete with the original card. Would look great worn as a Charm of Pendant on a Sterling Silver Chain. This vintage Charm measures 1 ¼ inches long by ½ inch wide and has a large oval sterling hang tag which is hallmarked SEDONA. The Charm is signed sterling and the original card is signed Sterling Silver Maisel with the company pictorial mark. Total weight is 2.4 grams. Maisel Trading Post was in Albuquerque New Mexico, a store owned by Morris Maisel which opened in 1931 selling primarily Navajo artisan jewelry. When Morris passed away the store was closed in the 1960's and then reopened by his son in the 1980s currently on the National Historic Register. This charm is one of the early ones. It was purchase from a local estate here in Northern Illinois the Corn capital of the USA. This beautiful vintage Hope Native American Indian sterling silver Charm is in superb unworn condition making for a great gift idea!!
