Vintage Thomas Dixon, Jr. Book, “ The Clansman” from 1905 still in good condition. The book has red cloth hard covers, no dust cover, no loose pages, no missing pages, spine and pages still tight, no writing or torn pages. The book has 374 p.p. and is still easy to read. The book was the basis for the movie: Birth of a Nation. The book describes the social , political , and economic disintegration that plagued the south during reconstruction depicting the rise of the Klu Klux Klan and the relations of two families to racial conflict. Also, found a small drawing of a woman of this period. I will leave this with the book.
