Vintage Art Deco free hand vase by Imperial glass co. from the 1920s still in good condition. The vase is 4 inches wide and 7 7/8 inches tall. The base and rim edges have black paint. There are 5 thin black lines that circle the vase. The reason for the name of Free Hand is because they used no molds to produce these vases. Imperial went to lead lustre vases because these could be made cheaper by using a paste mold. They stopped making the Free Hand and Lead Lustre vases in 1929.
