Vintage ceramic coffee server by the Republic Mfg. co. of Chicago Illinois from the early 1900s. The server is 9 ¾ inches tall, 6 ½ inches from spout to handle, and 5 ¼ inches across its base. The company used a lot of silver/platinum paint on the handle, lid, and spout. There is a small chip on the inner part of the lids edge. This is not noticeable when the lid is on. The motif is of Roses on the sides and the lid. There is a picture showing the small chip on the lid. There is no other chip, crack, or repair to the server than the one noted on the lid. None of the silver or platinum paint is rubbed off; the dark areas is dark colors picked up in the background. The inside of the server is white but looks dark because of the shadow of the light.
