Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire King grease bowl with lid having tulip motif from the 1950-60s still in good condition. The bowl is 5 ¾ inches across the top and 6 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The tulip decoration is still bright with none missing. The tulip decoration was hand painted by Gay Fad during the 1950-60s. Gay Fad used to buy blanks from Anchor Hocking, Hazel Atlas, Federal Glass, and Imperial Glass and they would hand paint different motifs on the blank pieces. They were in business from 1945 to 1963. Fran Taylor was the owner of Gay Fad. The buyer should keep in mind that when cleaning this piece do not put it into a dish washer or you could lose the painted motif or wear it down.
