Vintage 7 inch tall pink Depression glass pitcher by Jeannette in the Sierra/Pin wheel pattern from 1931-33 still in good vintage condition. The pattern name in Spanish means saw or saw tooth. This is very descriptive of this pattern by Jeannette. Jeannette made this pattern for only two years because of all the production problems and fragile pattern. The pattern has a habit of chipping easily on the teeth. This pitcher has a production flaw in that there are some tiny fissures on the edge of the pitcher nearest to the handle. These are the result of heating or cooling too fast. They do not present a danger to the pitcher. There are also a few bubbles in the piece. Overall, this is the best Sierra pitcher I have seen in a long time because of how easy it is to chip the pieces from use. This pitcher was probably not used at all because I did not see any use marks. Also, there are no chips or repairs.
