Vintage antique Fretwork on sewing spool stand from the 1880s still in good condition. The Fretwork decorations remind me of tramp art from the depression. The stand has two levels: the top is mostly for holding spools of thread and the second level would probably hold everything else. The top level does turn a complete 180 degrees and can be removed. The bottom level does not turn and is not removable. The top level is 11 ¼ inches square while the bottom level is 13 ¼ inches square. The stand is 32 inches tall. There is no damage to the fretwork. The estate did have tramp art work for sale but I was happy to be able to buy this. This is an antique that is very scarce at auctions.
