Vintage smaller Guardian ware roaster from 1930-56 still in good usable condition. There is no damage to the lid on the roaster. The roaster shows stains from use but it will still cook like it was new. The cast aluminum pan with its original glass lid was made by the Century Metalcraft Corp. from Chicago, Illinois. They made this line of cooking ware from 1933-56. This roaster is 7 7/8 inches wide, 6 ¾ inches tall to the top of the lid, and 3 ¼ inches deep. This roaster is from the world war two time frame because the company made glass lids instead of cast aluminum because of the shortage of aluminum during the war.
