Vintage Blue Ridge Southern pottery divided dish from the 1940-50s with a center handle. The dish has yellow flowers with green leaves and vines. The dish is 8 ½ inches square while being 2 ¾ inches tall. Marked on the bottom in blue is: Blue Ridge China. Blue Ridge china started in 1917 in Erwin, Tennessee. From 1917 to 1938 the patterns were applied to the bisque by use of decals. After 1938, the patterns were hand painted on the bisque prior to glazing. In 1957 Blue Ridge sold out to Cannonsburg and Stetson Potteries.
