Extremely rare vintage John Deere copper tin used for holding rouge polishing compound from the early 1900s still in excellent vintage condition. The copper tin is 1 ½ inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. There is still the impressed design of a front view of a stag with it's antlers and the words, "Deere Rouge New York. The red rouge was used to polish old needle valves from John Deere tractor engines. The design shows up better on the inside of the lid. This came from a old time farm auction that had many items from the turn of the century.
