30% OFF Vintage collectible 2-oval picture frames from the late 1800s still in very good condition. The frames were pieced together; you can see from the picture showing the back of each frame that they were pieced together using four pieces. The frames are 12" by 14" and are 1 1/4" thick. The picture area is 7 1/2" by 9 1/2". The oval frame is 2 1/4" in diameter. The decorative motifs are carved out of the wood; you can feel how raised they are from the frame. The pictures in each frame match the motif theme. The one frame has raised boughs indicating winter time. Hence the girl throwing a snow ball. The other frame has a summer scene; the motif is of a leaf and flower. The raised portions on each frame have gold paint accents. The pictures are free; we are just selling the frames together. One frame shows that it may have been dropped because the frame shows cracks in the wood or the wood cracked because of its age. The cracks are not endangering the picture frame. The wood is a light wood because the frames are not heavy.
