Lovely antique Hobstar and Frosted Feather pattern crystal pitcher made by Millersburg glass circa 1909. Designed by John Fenton the Feather and Hobstar pattern was one of the first patterns produced by Millersburg Glass. This is a scarce pattern deeply pressed on beautifully clear glass. The pitcher shows a blown shut and cut bottom and the glass is very thick and heavy. It weighs over 4 pounds and has an applied handle with no manufacturing flaws when applied. There is wear to the bottom, a few nicks and shallow chips on the edges of some of the feathers and a few light scratches.
It is in very nice condition for being 110 years old. The pitcher stands approx. 8.5” tall x 7” wide including handle. Great rare piece to add to your glass collection!!
