1887 Ropp's Commercial Calculator and Economics, Business, and Farming Reference Book
This special reference book is from an estate out of Northern Indiana, from an old farm that was very successful in the early part of the 20th century. This is in very good condition, no damage, except some fraying around the edges of the fabric on the covers. The pages are clean and it is intact. The inside cover has a light signature in pencil, "J.E. Campbell," and written in pencil is also "5280 ft in one mile."
This has wonderful information for a farmer, business person, or someone selling livestock or grains in the 19th century. The math formulas and economic calculations about interest, for instance, remain valid today. I have seen these for sale, but I have not seen any Ropp's Commercial Calculator come to market that is this old, and in this fine shape.
