- Antique Edwardian 9Ct Gold Openwork Amethyst And Split Pearl Pin Brooch -
This fabulous c.1910 brooch is set to the center with 4.2 mm Amethyst flanked with tiny seed pearls.
The sides are decorated with scrolls and leaves.
I would date this brooch to Edwardian era due to its design and simple 'C' type clasp.
The brooch is hallmarked '9Ct' for 9 carat gold purity (stamp to the 'C' catch).
It comes in lovely organza gift bag.
Measures 1.9 inches (50 mm) in length with the width of 13 mm.
It weight is 2.9 g.
The brooch is in decent antique condition; one end slightly out of shape. The amethyst is a medium purple of good clarity. The seed pearls are in good overall condition. Pin and clasp both work perfectly.
Safety chain missing.
