Sweet Jumeau bébé with a “DEP-8” Simon & Halbig made head
This classic French bébé from the early 1890s has the most endearing poured bisque head (perfect condition) provided to Jumeau by Simon & Halbig. It has a closed mouth, stationary deep blue enamel eyes, pierced ears with white earrings, light chestnut mohair wig over cork pate, jointed body with blue Jumeau stamp on the back (minor accidents and finish touch-ups at both hands), fine underwear and white summer dress, fluffy matching charlotte trimmed with rose ribbons, socks and antique leather shoes (one strap lightly damaged). 18” tall.
