If you are familiar with the antique print titled "Can't You Talk?", then you will see the similarity to this antique linen. The print features a baby child looking into the eyes of a large collie type dog asking that question. In the doorway sits a kitten watching the whole exchange. So, on this antique linen, in a reverse image, we see the baby child, the large dog and the kitten in the doorway, all hand done in turkey red stitching. This may have been used on a bed or pillow in years past. It is about 27 1/2" x 18 1/2" and is in excellent condition. Use it on a bed, hang it in a window or on a wall...so adorable!!
