From a Mennonite estate sale I attended years ago, I offer this skillfully made oval mat. It is about 8 3/4" x 6 1/2" and is made of a wide variety of colored fabric strips. The outer most rows have black, gray, pale red and blue coloring and the inner most rows are made of tan and brown. In between there are rows of a pale red, blue, cream and gray. This mat is well made, tightly woven and sure to last for generations. Probably used in years past as an oil lamp mat, it could be used in your favorite doll display, dollhouse or country decor!
