Here is a multi purpose antique wooden box for the collector. It is about 10 1/2" x 7" and has carved corner decorations as well as 2 raised octagons and a knob atop a smaller circular piece in the center of the box top. There is a partial metal latch on the front and hinges in back. Inside, I have laid a piece of old felt which is not attached and may be removed if desired. Otherwise, I have no idea as to the original purpose for this box but if you like boxes like I do, you will like this one! Some expected nicks and scratches but overall just a neat old box!!
