This large lovable old teddy is American made and probably from the early 1900s. He is about 23" tall when stretched out on my couch but is usually found sitting in a chair. Fully jointed with discs, he still has lots of movement in his old joints. He is straw filled (excelsior), has worn down fur and some small tears here and there. He is a recent find and comes to you "as is and as found" with some patches on old boo- boos. I have given him some clothing. One paw has lost some of its pad as can be seen in the one photo. His nose area has lost some stuffing and he has loose "skin" below his neck too...kind of like an elderly person with flabby skin! When I first saw a glimpse of him behind a stack of treasures in an antique market, I almost kept on walking...but something about him made me stop and take a better look. He looked so lost and forlorn sitting there...almost begging for someone to rescue him....and so I did! But I really want to find him a forever home now among other beloved old bears...so if he pulls on your heart strings, please adopt him!
