For your collection of children's clothing or favorite doll, I offer this mid 1800s white and red calico dress. The fabric has red and gray dots on a light background, and has cord type trim on skirt bottom and near sleeve ends. Entirely hand stitched, this dress could have been worn by a little boy or girl. It also could be worn with buttons down the front or the back. It is about 10 1/2" shoulder to shoulder (slightly dropped) and about 19" long. A few little old repairs made in years past...hardly noticeable. Great overall condition for a dress over 100 years old.
