Here is a wonderful old doll for your kitchen...most probably she was made as a tea caddy to protect and keep warm your treasured teapot but she can also be used to cover a variety of items such as a teapot or kettle, toaster, mixer bowls or even a canister. She stands about 17 1/2" high, has a painted paper mache molded type head with dark wig, and a light brown overlying hair piece, a cloth stuffed upper body and arms and has a 2 1/2" thick padded underskirt. Her outfit is very becoming...the black top has a white yoke with embroidered flowers, there is a pretty metal necklace type adornment in the center and she has a glass beaded bracelet on one arm. Her skirt is multi-color striped on a light background under a lovely black apron with lots of colored flowers at the top. Easy to forgive the areas of wear seen on sides of her head beneath the wig. These could be repaired if desired. Just a wonderful girl!! Please note...last photo shows the top of her head before added hairpiece is in place.
