For the collector of antique fashions or salesman samples, I offer these wonderfully made little boots from the late 1800s- early 1900s. These are made of black leather with a band of red leather around the top, have 6 sets of brass eyelets and are lined with a light brown chintz type fabric. Each shoe has a hard layered sole with a thin leather type piece on bottom. They are 5" long x 1 3/4" at widest part of sole x 4" high. Each shoe has 3 small holes in the sole where it would have attached to a display piece...thus the reason for my assumption that these were saleman's samples and never have been on a baby's foot. Inside and outside are in pristine condition...only flaws I see are very minimal...a few spots on the red leather and a small side chip on the sole. Very forgivable issues!!
