I am offering a beautiful piece of layered fabric which once served as the bottom of a Victorian or Edwardian dress. This piece was cut off the dress right above the ribbon area at the top and is 18" long x 27" across the front...total of about 54" around front and back. The fabric is in layers of plain net lace underneath with a scalloped and decorated floral lace overlay. At the top of the piece, there is a 1 1/2" wide ribbon with bow which is woven through an inverted arch trim....very lovely!! This will make a lovely addition to an antique white summer dress, a wedding gown or a myriad of other projects. There are a few small dark age marks...none in the front and easily forgiven. Overall condition is vey nice! Please note: blue bottom edge seen on the first photo is actually background material showing through and not part of the lace.
