Here is a very pretty china head girl with the blonde low brow hair style. She has been packed away for many years and I confess that I do not remember where I found her. At any rate, she has a very sweet face with peachy-rosy cheeks and lips and painted blue eyes. There is a tag on her arm from a former owner which states "original shoulder head, arms and legs, porcelain, unmarked". Her body may or may not be newer but I am not an expert on dolls. Her dress is made to fit her tightly so I am unable to see any markings she may have on her shoulder plate. The fabric of the dress is polished cotton much like that used in the late 1800s, early 1900s. It is lined in black polished cotton too. There are some marks under her arms on the dress which appears to be made from an old doll stand. Undergarments are in good repair and probably have been replaced. Lace accents on dress is old lace. Bottom of one foot has a white spot which seems to be under the glaze and made during production. Standing about 12" high, she is eager to be out of storage and would love to find a new home filled with lots of future friends!
