May I introduce to you this lovely little Ana McGuffie Princess Elizabeth doll by Madame Alexander? I bought her along with several other dolls a few years ago from the original owner who was moving to a retirement home. She had lovingly kept her dolls as cherished friends over the years and now wanted them to find new appreciative homes. This doll is made of composition, has a swivel head with the Princess Elizabeth face from 1937, a braided original wig and is 15" tall. Her over all condition is very good with minimal crazing...faint lines can be seen here and there and there is a tiny crack above her right eye but no lifting or open cracks elsewhere. She is wearing her original tagged dress which does have a rip in the back near the waist that is partially hidden by the ribbon. She has a pair of Days of the Week undies on that are not original to her and a few newer ribbons on her braids. She has been restrung at a doll hospital...now it is time for that new home. I also have a very good friend of hers in another listing (they are like sisters having come from the same previous owner who had them both since childhood)...look for Wendy Ann from 1936. They would LOVE to stay together!!
