Here is a unique old tin mold that I am a bit perplexed as to its original purpose. I was told it was a cookie mold but another time it was identified as an ice cream mold. I guess one could use it for several purposes. When held one way the opening resembles an old time steam train engine. Held a different way, I "see" a snowman with a scarf sticking out around his neck! At any rate, it is made of tin, is about 6" long and both ends can be removed. When the finished product is pushed out one end, I think it could be sliced down to individual little trains or snowmen or what have you...perhaps even mini breads? Then again, maybe it makes a large ice cube!! No matter what, it is definitely a unique piece for the tin mold collector. Butter mold?? Have you ever seen another??
