Please see all 5 baby bonnets and other treasures from the Herr estate of Lancaster Co., Pa. Here is a bit of history: The Herr's lived in a small town in Lancaster Co. and the father was a Doctor, the mother a school teacher and the daughter was a musician and taught music later in life. The daughter Anna Mary was born in 1915 and many of the pieces of clothing, bonnets and other textiles belonged to her. Her mother made it a priority to mark items with slips of paper to identify their origins and thus future generations would benefit. The five bonnets shown in the last photo will be listed and sold separately. This off -white cap is made of a soft padded fabric and has pretty stitching edging the head. Long ties are used to keep it on baby's head. It was marked with a paper signifying that it was the first cap the mother bought for the baby in 1915. Nice condition but as all of these items, it may show a mark from storage...or not! Lying flat it is about 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I can combine shipping on more than one bonnet.
May my treasures bring you JOY!
