Here is a copy of the New York Home Journal from 1923 featuring the cover titled "Solace" by famed illustrator Grace Drayton. As children march patriotically in the background, another little one comforts a friend with a boo-boo. The journal is about 17" x 11" and is made of heavy newspaper type paper with a magazine format. Inside you will find articles on fashion, including Back to Victorian Days, needlework, exercise and other worthy tidbits of that era. Some color illustrations inside and outside. Thee are some chips of the paper here and there and a 2" tear on back cover but overall, it is a good copy. Shown inside a plastic protective sleeve, the cover may show shadows. There is a fold seen on cover also and will ship folded. Grace Drayton was responsible for those chubby cheek and big eyed kids we call the Campbell kids, Dolly Dingle and friends.
