Here is an 8" x 10" puzzle made out of 1/4" thick wood with paper lithographed surface featuring an advertisement for Henderson's Roses. Probably from the late 1800s or early 1900s, this puzzle contains a variety of roses pictured along with their names and information where you can get them...Peter Henderson & Co. of New York. Also stated is the following: Henderson's Select Quartet of Hard Garden Roses. Shown are the names Jubilee, White Maman Cocket, Mrs. Robert Garrett & Pres. Carnot. Puzzle shows wear to the paper and a few places where the paper has worn completely away. Please see photos where the wood shows through. Still a really neat old advertising medium!
May my treasures bring you JOY!
