I will be listing several antique ladies night gowns for your consideration. This first one (#1) is made of a cool- to- the- touch white cotton and features lovely lace inserts and cap sleeves made of lace edging. It also has rows upon rows of pin tucking down the front and back to about the waist. The square neckline is edged in delicate lace and a mother of pearl button secures the back opening. It is about 39" long and 13" shoulder to shoulder. Except for a small nip out of the fabric in the back (along the opening), it is in nice sturdy condition. I believe it is sturdy enough to be worn on a hot summer night when you seek the coolness of this fabric. So pretty!!
