Here is a rare combination on a Victorian Redwork towel. Done in a wonderful turkey red floral design, the maker then added stitches of yellow to fill inside the borders of flowers, leaves and ribbons. Skillfully done, this maker also added a monogram in red. The towel is about 44" long x 24" wide and is in nice condition except for one small hole along edge on cloth which would not be seen if folded over a rod. (See last photo which compares hole to a quarter). The floral design is done on one end of towel only.
