Here is a piece of wall art that I have had for many years and know someone out there will cherish it as I have. It has been framed in years past and is a perfect size for wall art. Framed in a variegated wood frame under glass, the needlepoint is very interesting. The outer edge of the needlework piece has several rows of stitching that resembles cording done in brown thread. Inside that is a lighter beige background which lies host to lovely roses and corner pieces that remind me of gingerbread trim seen on quaint Victorian houses. However, it is the makers use of gold metallic threads interspersed with the design that brings this piece to life!! Framed piece is about 13” x 13 ½” and in nice condition. Please note…the pictures do not do this piece justice…it actually sparkles at times.
