Here is a really old rug made by an Amish woman in years past. It is about 66" x 40" with 2" fringe on each end. The wool yarn is very very soft and seems to have been hand woven in 3 strips which were then sewn together by hand. The yarns are green, yellow and black with a touch of cream color. The colors work well together and the softness of the rug would have felt warm and cuddly against a cold body traveling in a buggy! I can not imagine this rug lying on a floor and being used as a floor cover rug but it would look great on an antique table. The dark mark may clean up with a bit of TLC. There is a 3 to 4" split along one seam end which needs a few stitches but otherwise is nice and tight. Hand fringed too and is in good condition with some wear here and there as expected.
