Here is a skillfully made long doll quilt with 12 stitches to the inch!! It has a 9 patch design where 9 small squares of Cloth of Gold fabric are stitched together to make a square. The maker used complimentary pastel green and pink called Cloth of Gold due to its richness and desirability. The quilt is about 15" x 28" and was made for a long Victorian style doll bed, crib or stroller. It has a nice green edge and is in great condition except for a few marks, mostly at one end...I have not washed this quilt. Please note: this doll quilt came from the same estate as the lovely little Ana McGuffie Princess Elizabeth doll by Madame Alexander that I have listed. The original owner's grandmother made many doll clothes and quilts in the early 1900s to the 40s. So well made, completely hand stitched...it is certainly of museum quality!
