I was told recently that this is a LuAnn Simms doll from the 50s era...LuAnn was a real girl who became famous on Arthur Godfrey's tv show, She has lots of characteristics of the Horsman dolls from that era including the following: open mouth with tongue and 4 teeth; straight leg walker; lines around wrists; clips in hair; rolled bangs...of course there were other maker's who did this type doll and she could be of another maker like Roberta. She is all hard plastic, about 18" tall and in good condition. She is wearing a red coat over a white dress and Fairyland Toy white shoes with socks as found. Nice addition to a collection.
May my treasures bring you JOY!
