If you like old lithographed tins, then you will not want to miss this one!! This child's lunch tin is very vibrant and graphic with little kids playing with a puppy while running along. The background green color lies host to black outlined figures with gold accents. The ends show other children making bubbles. Because of the subject matter and colors, I believe this to be made back in the 1920s or 30s. It also has an art nouveau look so could be earlier. It has a series of tiny letters along the base edge but I am unable to read them. The handles are moveable and the lid is hinged. It opens to reveal a gold colored interior which does show some signs of wear but the outside is in remarkably preserved condition. It is about 7" x 5" x 4" and very nice. Please forgive any minor wear along bottom 1/8" where some paint loss is seen upon close inspection. The best one I've seen in years!!
