"May all who go behind us find us faithful" are some words to a beautiful Christian modern day song...and I found myself humming it as I looked at this early 1900s postcard. Printed in Germany, this highly embossed and vivedly colorful card draws you into a moment of serenity. Standing on an ornate wall or memorial is a little blonde haired girl with praying hands in a long blue dress. Beside her stands her mother wearing a long red dress with gold stars, a golden cross necklace and embellished scarf. Together they seem so filled with hope, faith and love. The card is titled "Faith" and shows a gold edged cross at the foot of the swall. The golden highlights add great richness to this card printed in Germany and postally used back in early 1900s. But, more precious than all that gold, is the Faith encouraged by this mother to her child!!
