Here is a wonderful vintage stationary box which has a floral wall paper type covering. I have had this for many years in my personal collection of treasures. It is very unusual because of the way the drawer is on a swivel. Instead of pulling out, the tray swings around to display the envelopes inside. It measures about 17" x 7" x 4 1/2" and contains 5th Ave. Social cards, paper, envelopes and what is left of a feather pen with brass nib. The feather tip is broken off but will be included. (I do not believe the pen came with this set but I will include it anyway). I believe this dates to about the 1930s-1940s era so of course the glue on the envelopes will probably no longer adhere and there is some expected fading to the item but this is just so quaint...reminiscent of a time when people kept in touch by writing letters! Very cool!
