MIB Dionne Quint 10th Anniversary Collectors Set 1979-1989. This set of Dionne Quintuplets was made for the 10th Anniversary of the Dionne Quintuplets Club for their 10th Convention in 1989. This set of 5 dolls are dressed in green flower print dresses with red and gold and white trim around the collar, sleeves, waistline and hem. The dolls were from Shakman Company and had a blue hair bow in their blond hair on the left side. The dolls had painted on grey blue socks and black shoes and were 5 3/4 inches tall. All of the sewing accessories are still all intact under the original plastic covering at the top of the package. They include 5 pieces of fabric, an embroidery in a frame with a needle and 5 different colored embroidery threads, a pair of scissors, a tape measure, a pattern, and various colored thread. The set is initialed and dated in the upper right hand corner under the accessories. I had read in an article that the lady who made all of the sets for the convention initialed and dated each set for verification purposes. I believe there was the convention sticker on the front of the box but it has come off over time. The set comes from a non-smoking home.
