A rare and beautiful antique circa 1880-1890s heavy silver plated citrus or lemon press! This piece is designed to sit on a bar or restaurant counter to squeeze juice for drinks, you place the citrus half inside the figural lemon, lock the top and turn the top handle, as you turn the handle and ironstone press presses the juice out and it falls into a glass below.
In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just a little waviness to the bottom tray that holds the glass. Still functions and is in perfect working order! Minor tarnish with some wear around the bottom plate. Made in England by Sibray & Hall (active from 1878-1918)
Stands 12” tall
