The history of the German ZEPPELIN is just fascinating.
So is this unique table lamp with the HINDENBURG Airship over the skyline of New York.
The LZ-129 traveled from Germany to New York in world record time, and was considered a safe blimp,
until the disaster of LAKEHURST happened in 1937.
Now for the 50th Anniversary, this special designer table lamp was created, after an existing one from the 1930's in every detail.
Only a handful were manufactured, and are almost impossible to find. Super, Super Rare!!!
The pictures really show you the beauty of that piece of history, and it has that great aged patina from the 1930's.
The the base material is brass, nickel plated, 6.6" across. 5.5" deep to the back of the lamp.
The baffled, round milk glass is 6.75" in diameter. Has a nice long cable with on/off switch.
This would be gift and highlight for any collector.....
