Exquisite Fuchsia and Silver Silk Lamé Opera Cape with Dramatic Shawl Fur Collar. A RARE Example of the Drama of the period! Fully lined in Silvery Lamé, with a small ruched pocket and straps on the inside neck area. Fur collar is trimmed with Black Ostrich feathers. Heavy Duty Hook and Eye at the neck with a Single covered button. The fur Collar also has a fur covered button and Heavy Duty Thread Loop. The Cape has an inside Padded Batting between the two layers of Lamé. It was made for warmth. Fabulous piece!

Condition :: In overall excellent condition, with a couple of small breaks to the Fur at the back of the neck and a small section of breaks at the hem of the Lamé. There is also some oxidation to the fabric. I have photographed these areas. I have made no attempt to clean this item. That said- there are No odors and it has been stored in a climate controlled environment.
