Exquisite Perfection! Classic Gibson Girl Sheer Net Lace 2 pc Wedding Dress. I acquired this beautiful ensemble from France. Despite her flaws and super tiny child size, I just couldn't resist. I'm a sucker for ruffles, what can I say... I have re-worked this gown to accommodate a modern size. To start with - the high neck and inside Silk lining and boning has been removed. The sleeves have been altered and shoulders cut away to create a 'cold shoulder'. Net Lace extension panels were added under each arm. Hook and Eye closures reinforced down the spine. On the skirt I removed the shredded Silk Lining and added an Antique Pinkish Lavender Net Lace Skirt lining. This same fabric was used to Line the inside Top. The waistband was removed and I made a new one out of vintage white silk net , over layed with Frayed Bias cut Linen and Decorative Bows. A gorgeous Irish Lace Embellishment has been added and Delicate Spider Web Lace down the front and along the waist area. Heavy Cotton lace has been added on the under side of the skirt in the center of the ruffled areas to create a nice weight and Drape (See Pictures). To finish her off I added an Antique Embroidered Heirloom Bow (Huge) that lays beautifully over the Bum.
The skirt can be worn at the natural waist, as seen on Manny or it can be worn on the hips, as seen in the photo shoot on Mackenzie. If you have the body and want to show some skin, go for it! Clean and Ready to Wear!

Condition: There are two tiny breaks in the net lace lower skirt area. So tiny they are not worth trying to repair.
