Rare and wonderful WWII sweetheart signet ring, in heavy 10k yellow gold. Ring has a special hidden compartment for a photograph, that swings out on a cleverly designed hinge, when folded back behind the face of the ring, it’s completely hidden. The ring is monogramed with the the letters AB on the face.

The locket compartment retains the original photo holder rim but no glass, it there ever was one. Marked on the shank 10k B & F, as well as a patent number, stamped on the inside of the ring, dates the mechanism design to 1940’s.

Condition: excellent all original.
Measurements: Currently size 11 and resizable about 2-3 sizes up or down without issue. Face is oval in shape 5/8” by 9/16”. Photo compartment is 1/2” by 3/8”. Ring weighs 6.2 grams.
