Here is a wonderfully functional and decorative 18th century Fireplace Footman combining bell metal or brass and wrought iron with scrolls and a cast decorative surface that would enhance any period fireplace and still function beautifully for warming tea or hot toddies. The front leg is a Queen Anne Pad Foot while the two back legs are posts and wafers at the bottom.
The top surface exhibits a very softly worn finish and the medial deck also serves as a warming trivet.
The condition is excellent and extremely sound over all.
