This exuberant and spirited Running Horse Weathervane exhibits a wonderful verdigris patina with oxidized surface and traces of original gilt surface circa 1880-1890.
Having a cast zinc head for balance in the wind, and a few bullet holes from youthful sharp shooters, this example seems to be flying across a landscape in full trot.
Measuring 34" long by 19" tall (excluding the stand, which is included)).
