Antique Edwardian amethyst and pearl lavaliere. This is a very elegant and sweet jewel that captures the graceful feminine essence of iconic Edwardian design. Circa 1910. The mount and chain are fine silver. The cushion cut natural amethyst measures 10.5 x 10.1 x 5.2mm and is a soft lavender colour. The handmade be-ribboned mount is set with numerous half seed pearls. One pearl is missing and three appear to have been replaced. The chain has a spring ring clasp. Overall this beauty is in good antique condition and weighs 4.9 grams. Chain is 17" long and and pendant drop is 2".
