Pair of Edwardian diamond bow earrings set in platinum topped 18k yellow gold circa 1900. These graceful beauties evoke all the elegance and refinement of the Belle Epoque. There are many reproductions of these styles but these earrings are authentic period jewels.
Completely handmade in platinum on top of 18k yellow gold with rose cut and old European cut diamonds. The metals quality has been acid tested. Curiously one earring back is "Frenched" while the other back is not. Please see photos. There are articulated joints between the bow, ribbon and pendant so there is lively movement when the earrings are worn.
There are 34 rose, single and brilliant cut diamonds pavee set into the bows and ribbons. Total weight approximately 0.18 carats G-L colour, I1 - I3 clarity. There are 2 old European cut diamonds set in the pendants weighing approx 0.21 carats total GH colour SI2 clarity (both of these have small chips)
Dimensions are 23.5 mm long and 11.2 mm wide at the bow. Weight 3.0 grams.
