This is a beautiful set of eight Standard Glass green depression water goblets with their #6 Grape wheel cutting. Standard Glass was a higher end division of Hocking. These bridge the gap between machine made depression glass and "elegant glass." The basic shape is machine made, but the thin bowl, vertical optic, and wheel cutting are more associated with the 'elegant" side. All eight are in super condition, with no chips, nicks or cracks. Very clear glass, no haze or water stains. They have strong uranium green color that will glow under black light, and all are a great color match. These are 5 3/4" high and 3" across the top. Each holds about 9 1/2 oz when filled right to the top. Made circa 1930.
